Cushiere exists for everything in between: genuine Sunbrella fabric, cut to your exact measurements, ordered directly online — no showroom visit, no consultation call, no settling for "close enough." We're based in Singapore and built this because there wasn't a straightforward way to get a properly fitted, properly made cushion without overpaying for a full bespoke service or underpaying for one that doesn't actually fit your bench, sofa, or window seat.

I've come at this from a few different angles. I started in e-commerce and network marketing back in 2012, eventually scaling a business across more than 20 regions and countries, then moved into drop-shipping — where I learned what it actually takes to run something that keeps working around the clock, whether or not I'm the one watching it.
Alongside that, I trained in interior design and spent years as an Associate Consultant in real estate, working directly with people trying to make a space feel right — which is where I first noticed how often an ill-fitting cushion was the one detail letting an otherwise beautiful room down.
From 2021 to 2024, I was Business Development Manager at OHMM, a premium outdoor furniture brand — my closest look yet at how outdoor cushions are actually manufactured, branded, and sold at scale. That's where Cushiere's whole model comes from: I'd seen exactly where the gap was between mass-market fixed sizing and full bespoke consultations, and knew genuine Sunbrella fabric cut to an exact measurement could be offered without either extreme.
Cushiere itself — the site, the fabric configurator, the backend running it — is something I designed and built myself, the same way I've built everything since getting into content and affiliate work in 2023: using AI tools directly, not just talking about them.

Every Cushiere cover is cut from genuine Sunbrella — solution-dyed acrylic woven by Glen Raven since 1961. The colour runs all the way through the fibre, not just printed on the surface, which is where the rest of its properties start.

Bay window cushions
Few spots in a home get more relentless sun than a bay or bench window seat — sitting behind glass all day, every day, with nowhere to hide from it. It's exactly where ordinary upholstery fabric fades first.
Glass doesn't block the rays that cause fading
Window glass filters out most UV-B, but UV-A — the wavelength responsible for most fabric fading — passes straight through largely unaffected. A window seat cushion can take a harder light beating over a year than an outdoor cushion does, simply because it's parked in a sunbeam for hours every single day.
Regular printed or piece-dyed fabric fades from that exposure within a season or two — the colour sits on the surface of the fibre, and UV breaks it down from the top. Sunbrella is solution-dyed: colour runs all the way through the fibre itself, so there's no surface layer to bleach out. That's the same property that makes it hold up outdoors, put to work on a window seat.
It also means a bay window cushion can go bold — deep charcoals, saturated stripes, colours most people are told to avoid near a sunny window — without the fading trade-off.

FAQ
How long does a custom order take?
Every cushion is cut and sewn after you order — allow time for production before it ships, since nothing is held pre-made.
What if my fabric is marked unavailable?
That means it's either temporarily out of stock at the mill or has been discontinued. Choose another colourway, or get in touch and we'll let you know if it's expected back.
Can I use my own insert?
Yes — choose "Cover only" and your cover will be cut to fit the cushion size you enter. Do keep in mind that a used insert may have compressed slightly over time, so it may not sit quite as snugly as a new one inside a cover made precisely to your measurements. As every cover is made to order to the size you provide, we're unable to offer a refund or exchange if the fit feels different once your own insert is in place.
Is Sunbrella really suitable indoors too?
Yes. It's woven to resist fading, stains and mildew outdoors, which makes it just as hard-wearing on an indoor sofa or window seat.
